Kathryn Appelhans receives leadership award at Lake Forest College

LAKE FOREST, IL (04/25/2011)(readMedia)-- Kathryn Appelhans `11 of Bartlett, Ill., was recently awarded the Student of the Year Award at Lake Forest College.

Each year, the Student of the Year Award is presented to a student in a leadership position of a registered student organization who has demonstrated excellence in leadership in guiding their organization. This person should demonstrate strong professionalism, an innovative vision for campus community, and a commitment to excellence.

Appelhans is a graduate of Driscoll High School in Addison, Ill.
