Kathryn Guerra Receives Western New England College Excellence in Political Science Award

SPRINGFIELD, MA (06/11/2010)(readMedia)-- Kathryn L. Guerra of Stafford Springs, CT, received the Excellence in Political Science Award during Baccalaureate ceremonies at Western New England College. The award is given to the outstanding graduating senior in Political Science.

Associate Professor of Political Science Peter Fairman presented the award to Guerra, saying "for as long as I teach, I will carry with me vivid memories of her inquisitive mind, her superb sense of humor, her striking eloquence, and perhaps most importantly, her compassionate nature."

Guerra graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
