Kathryn Reagan of North Richland Hills Receives Leadership Award from Southwestern University

GEORGETOWN, TX (04/10/2014)(readMedia)-- Kathryn Reagan of North Richland Hills has received the 2014 Sophomore Leadership Award from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. The award was presented at the university's 16th Annual Student Leadership Banquet April 3.

Award recipients are nominated by students and faculty members and are then sent a list of questions to answer, including their personal philosophy of leadership. The winners are chosen by members of Omicron Delta Kappa, the national leadership honor society.

Reagan is majoring in computer science and is involved with the Computer Science Club, the Honor Code Council and the service organization Alpha Phi Omega. She also works for the Office of Civic Engagement, and helped plan the 2014 Big Event, in which more than 350 Southwestern students, faculty, staff and alumni spent a day doing volunteer work at 15 different nonprofit organizations in Georgetown.

Reagan is the daughter of Donna and Tim Reagan.
