Kevin Diemer Named Regent of the Week

Junior forward Kevin Diemer has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending Sunday, February 7, 2021. Diemer helped lead Rockford to a 2-1 record this past week. He scored at least 20 points and shot over 63% from the floor in all three of the Regents' games. He opened with 24 points on 63.6% shooting (7-of-11), 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal in a 97-70 win over MSOE. He followed that up with a 21-point performance off of 72.7% shooting (8-of-11), 7 rebounds and 1 steal in a 96-79 victory against Aurora. Diemer then concluded his week on Saturday with 20 points on 80% shooting (8-of-10), 3 rebounds and 1 block. For the week, he averaged 21.7 points on a blistering 71.9% shooting and 4.3 rebounds.
