Georgia State University student Kharli M. Major has received the Dr. Walter Wilczynski Outstanding Neuroscience Undergraduate Award. This endowment recognizes and honors the legacy of Walter Wilczynski, the founding director of the Neuroscience Institute at Georgia State in 2008. In addition to teaching, research, and scholarly writing, Wilczynski mentored numerous undergraduate and graduate students and postdoctoral research fellows, influencing the careers of countless undergraduate and graduate students.
