Kimberly Sulack Honored With Creighton University Eileen B. Lieben History Award

OMAHA, NE (04/20/2011)(readMedia)-- Kimberly Sulack of Kansas City, a senior at Creighton University, received the Eileen B. Lieben Award at Creighton's Department of History Annual Honors Banquet, held on April 12. This year's banquet honored history students who excelled in their classes and were nominated by their professors.

The Eileen B. Lieben Award was funded by Creighton Latin American History graduate Anne Parks, owner and CEO or AWP Company in New York. The award honors Mrs. Lieben and recognizes the high achievements of female students of history. In her long career at Creighton, Mrs. Lieben was the second dean of women and the first female to become associate vice president of student services. She was an advocate for women studies and has been a model and a mentor to women students. The award is given to an outstanding female senior history student. Criteria for the award are academic excellence and significant participation in extracurricular activities.
