Koloa native presents research at annual undergraduate conference

WALLA WALLA, WA (05/14/2012)(readMedia)-- Elizabeth Schiller of Koloa, Hawaii recently presented at the annual Whitman College Undergraduate Conference on Tuesday, April 10. Her presentation was titled "Refining Meyer's Minority Stress Theory: Does Personality Play a Role in Detecting Mental Health Outcomes for LGB Individuals?"

Schiller, the daughter of Sharon and Stanley Schiller, is a 2008 graduate of Kauai High School. She is currently a psychology major at Whitman.

The undergraduate conference is an annual opportunity for Whitman students to share their research and creative projects with the community. Presentations are given by students in all disciplines.
