RIPON, WI (05/04/2010)(readMedia)-- Kristin Reedal, a senior majoring in mathematics from Rolling Meadows, Ill., was named the recipient of the 2010 Burton J. Stallard Prize in Education during a ceremony held April 21, 2010 at Ripon College.
The Burton J. Stallard, Class of 1926, Prize in Education is a cash award and letter of credit for the purchase of books. The prize recognizes a senior with a career goal in education who has shown insight into fundamental issues, has been involved in education-related experiences, possesses broad interests beyond the field itself and has an above-average academic record.
Reedal is the daughter of Mr. James Reedal of Sun Prairie, Wis. and Ms. Chris Reedal of Rolling Meadows, Ill.
