MILLERSVILLE, PA (06/22/2011)(readMedia)-- Krystal M. Kees of Sellersville, Pa. has been chosen to receive the Dr. Dominick and Mrs. Helen DiNunzio Scholarship for the 2011-2012 academic year. This scholarship is awarded to an incoming freshman at Millersville University of Pennsylvania.
Kees will attend Millersville University this fall, majoring in psychology. She completed a college preparatory program at Pennridge High School, completing several honors and advanced placement (AP) courses including English, American literature, world cultures, biology and statistics. Kees was a member of the National Honors Society and the Foreign Language Honors Society. She participated in her school's literary magazine and the Animal Rights Club. She also volunteered with the Adopt-a-Highway program.
The Dr. Dominick and Mrs. Helen DiNunzio Scholarship is awarded to a student from Bucks County based on high school academic performance. The award is valued at $231, credited to the second semester bill, as long as the recipient remains in good academic standing for the first semester.
