Kyle Benk of Bloomsbury is Inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa

CHESTERTOWN, MD (03/19/2013)(readMedia)-- Washington College is pleased to announce that Kyle Benk '13 of Bloomsbury, NJ was recently inducted into the Alpha Csi Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa, sheltered at Washington College.
Omicron Delta Kappa, the National Leadership Honor Society, was founded December 3, 1914 at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA. The founders formulated the idea that leadership of exceptional quality and versatility in college should be recognized, that representatives in all phases of college life should cooperate in worthwhile endeavors, and that outstanding students, faculty and administrators should meet on a basis of mutual interest, understanding and helpfulness.
Benk is majoring in computer science and minoring in information systems. A graduate of Phillipsburg High School, he is a member of Washington College's Alex Brown Investment Program and serves as a peer tutor for the Computer Science Department.
Founded in 1782 under the patronage of George Washington, Washington College is a private, independent college of liberal arts and sciences located in colonial Chestertown on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
