HERKIMER, NY (03/27/2012)(readMedia)-- Herkimer County Community College baseball pitcher Kyle Schwartz, Patchogue, NY (Medford High School) has been named Region III Male Co-Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week. Schwartz pitched a no hitter on Saturday against Nassau CC. Schwartz went seven innings allowing no hits, 0 runs, 5 walks, with 5 strikeouts. Schwartz runs his record to 3-0 on the season with a 0.00 ERA. He is a Business: Accounting major at Herkimer.
Schwartz shares the co-athlete honor with David Fernandes, a lacrosse player from SUNY Delhi.
Herkimer County Community College is a unit of the State University of New York, located in Herkimer, NY about 20 miles east of Utica, NY.
