L'Deana Coffer of Tatum, NM, signs with USW volleyball team

HOBBS, NM (05/26/2011)(readMedia)-- L'Deana Coffer, from Tatum NM, has signed on to play volleyball with the Lady Mustangs for the 2011 season. Coffer is a 5'8" Right Side/Outside Hitter.

While with the Tatum Coyotes, Coffer helped lead the volleyball program to the New Mexico Volleyball State Championships her Junior and Senior years. Coffer was named to the volleyball All-District, Second Team All-State, New Mexico All-Star, and All-Tournament teams.

"I am so excited to have a local girl like L'Deana on our team," said Head Coach Sonya Petroski. "Tatum produces some great student-athletes, L'Deana is going to do some great things for our program and it's great her family and friends will get the chance to watch her play at the next level," concluded Petroski.

The Coyote stand out received the citizenship award, was a member of National Honors Society, a member of the track program at Tatum High School, and was ranked second in her class with a 3.9 G.P.A.
