LVC Presents Comedian Kyle Ploof
January 20 show is first of 2012's Friday Night Comedy Series at LVC
ANNVILLE, PA (01/13/2012)(readMedia)-- Lebanon Valley College presents award-winning comedian Kyle Ploof in a free performance on Friday, January 20, 9 p.m., in Leedy Theater of the Mund College Center. Ploof's show is the first of the College's 2012 Friday Night Comedy Series.
Boston-based comedian Kyle Ploof was named "Best New Comic" by the Last Comic Laughing Contest and "Boston's Best Stand Up" by 104.1 WBCN in 2007. His weekly podcast, "The Ploof is in the Pudding," showcases a different comedian each week and has been described as "simple, in-depth, funny."
Ploof has been featured in the original Las Vegas Comedy Festival and the New York Comedy Expo, and co-created and produced a series of live music and comedy shows called "Lyrics & Laughs." Those shows set records in some of the best Boston indie venues.
The Friday Night Comedy Series at Lebanon Valley College will include performances by Bernadette Pauley, co-host of "The Gossip Queens," on Jan. 27; "America's Got Talent" star entertainer Nick Pike on Feb. 3; Performer Wayne Hoffman, a featured entertainer on NBC's hit TV show "Phenomenon," on Feb. 10; and comedian Alec Sobel on March 23.
