Lafayette native honored by Marquette University's Department of History

MILWAUKEE, WI (07/19/2012)(readMedia)-- Brian Chelius, son of Erik and Kathleen Chelius, was honored with the Walter C. Boden Memorial Award from Marquette University's Department of History. Chelius graduated in May with a bachelor of arts in history with a second major in German.

The Walter C. Boden Memorial Award recognizes the outstanding History graduate. The student receives a three-year membership in the American Bar Association and a copy of Black's Law Dictionary.

Chelius was selected for the award for his outstanding academic record achieved while pursuing and academic program of particular rigor.
