Lake Oswego native presents to Walla Walla School Board

WALLA WALLA, WA (11/07/2012)(readMedia)-- Lake Oswego native Natalie Pond recently gave a presentation to the Walla Walla School Board about the College Coaches program at Whitman College. The program assists high school students in the Walla Walla community to achieve goals of obtaining a post-secondary education. She has a lead role in coordinating the program and its volunteers.

Pond is the daughter of Fred and Cherie Pond from Lake Oswego. She is a 2011 graduate of Riverdale High School.

At Whitman, Pond is a junior English major and also volunteers for the school's chapter of Challah for Hunger, which bakes and sells challah bread to raise money for disaster relief in Sudan.
