Lake Oswego native prevents cases of HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C

WALLA WALLA, WA (11/02/2012)(readMedia)-- Lake Oswego native Kerry Streiff began her third year of volunteering at Blue Mountain Heart to Heart through Whitman College. Blue Mountain Heart to Heart is a non-profit organization that specializes in HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C prevention and support services. She runs a syringe exchange for injection drug users to obtain clean materials and tests for Hepatitis C and HIV in Walla Walla residents.

Streiff is the daughter of David and Libet Streiff from Lake Oswego. She is a 2010 graduate of Oregon Episcopal School.

At Whitman, Streiff is a junior Biology and Geology double major, Outdoor Program trip leader, and volunteer for the carpentry division of theater.
