BOSTON, MA (08/22/2011)(readMedia)-- 451 Marketing Partner Tom Lee announced today that Laura Christo has joined the 451 Marketing team as a Public Relations Account Executive. Christo brings four years of experience in marketing, public relations, event planning, and social media to her new role. She will specialize in developing and executing integrated public relations campaigns.

At 451, Christo will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communications campaigns for 451 Marketing's public relations clients including The Meat House, Survey on the Spot, Party of Gold, The Alcea Collection, and Centerville Pies. Her duties will include creating and distributing press materials for clients, integrating public relations and social media communications, compiling targeted media lists, and working with contacts at various media outlets.
Prior to joining 451 Marketing, Christo served as an Account Coordinator at SHIFT Communications in Newton, MA where she assisted with the daily public relations activities for B2B technology accounts including Pitney Bowes Business Insight, Axis Communications, and Rapid7. Previous to SHIFT Communications, Christo was an Account Coordinator at Emerge Public Relations in Quincy, MA where she managed public relations for author Jothy Rosenberg. She has also worked, interned, and volunteered with various organizations including Stonehill College, WBUR 90.9fm, Planned Parenthood, and the Greater Boston Food Bank.
Christo is a 2006 graduate of Stonehill College where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communications with a concentration in Mass Media and a Minor in Studio Art. A native of Acton, MA, Christo resides in South Boston.
