DANVILLE, KY (04/23/2014)(readMedia)-- Lea Stromire Johnson of Charlotte was re-elected to Centre College's Board of Trustees at the recent spring board meeting on April 10-11.
Johnson is an attorney with Moore & Van Allen, one of the largest law firms in the Southeast, whose clients include numerous businesses, including ten of the 15 Fortune 500 Companies with headquarters in North Carolina. At MVA, Johnson's primary area is banking. She has been included on the North Carolina Super Lawyers list from 2010 to 2012.
She is active with such organizations as the Girl Scouts of America, the Women's Impact Fund, the Junior League of Charlotte, the Symphony Guild of Charlotte and Myers Park United Methodist Church.
She graduated from Centre with degrees in English and government, and went on to earn a juris doctor from Vanderbilt University. Johnson has served Centre College in many volunteer roles, including being a member of the President's Advisory Council and working with Centre Regional Club Leadership, as well as serving on reunion committees.
