Leah Decker of Warner Robins Receives Achievement Award at Macon State College Honors Convocation

MACON, GA (04/14/2011)(readMedia)-- Leah Decker, a junior from Warner Robins, won the Academic Excellence in the Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Information Technology - Accounting Major honor. Decker was one of nearly 60 students recognized for academic achievement and campus leadership at the 2011 Macon State College Honors Convocation.

Dr. Mary Wearn, associate professor of English and interim chair of the Department of Media, Culture, and the Arts, Award for Outstanding Scholarship

Darrell Thompson, assistant professor of nursing, Award for Outstanding Teaching

Chris Tsavatewa, instructor of health services administration, Faculty Award for Outstanding Service

Ryan Tucker, Communications Coordinator, Office of Enrollment Services, Staff Award for Excellence in Customer Service
