Leavenworth Native Presents at Murdock Conference

WALLA WALLA, WA (11/19/2012)(readMedia)-- Leavenworth native Isaac Reister recently presented his research on the effects of extreme winds on structures at the annual Murdock College Science Research Conference, which took place at Whitman College this year. More than 400 students and faculty from colleges throughout the Northwest gathered for the conference, and students presented results from research they had conducted at their home institutions, summer internships or elsewhere. He conducted research at the University of Texas in Arlington.

Reister is the son of Zeke and Laurie Reister from Leavenworth. He is a Cascade High School graduate.

At Whitman, Reister is a junior biophysics, and he enjoys rugby, water polo, fencing, and baking.
