Mike Stud will perform in concert at Lebanon Valley College April 26

ANNVILLE, PA (04/05/2014)(readMedia)-- Lebanon Valley College will host American hip-hop artist Mike Stud on Saturday, April 26 at 8 p.m. in the Arnold Sports Center as part of the annual ValleyFest weekend. Doors will open at 7 p.m. and tickets are required. LVC student tickets are $15; public tickets are $20.

Originally from Rhode Island, Michael Seander, known by his stage name Mike Stud, was a successful baseball and basketball athlete. With a talent and passion for both sports, he found most of his success on the baseball field. Unfortunately, he suffered from an injury that would eventually require Tommy John surgery, known in the medical field as ulnar collateral ligament reconstruction. While recovering from surgery, he turned to music to pass the time.

In December 2010, Stud released a music video for "College Humor." Stud originally made the track as a joke for his teammates but the video gained over 1.3 million views. As he continued making music, he released a rookie mix-tape called, "A Toast to Tommy," which debuted at No. 3 and No. 2 on iTunes Hip-Hop Albums chart. His music has acquired nearly 10 million YouTube views and he continues to sell out shows and make headlines.

Mike Stud's concert is part of Lebanon Valley College's 43rd annual spring arts festival, ValleyFest, Friday April 25 and Saturday April 26, and is open to the community. The festival includes local arts and craft vendors, food vendors, musical acts, children's activities, games, and more. For more information, visit www.lvc.edu/valleyfest.
