Lebanon Valley College to Celebrate 40th Annual ValleyFest

ANNVILLE, PA (03/25/2011)(readMedia)-- Lebanon Valley College will host its 40th annual spring arts festival, ValleyFest, on Saturday, April 16 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Community members, staff, and students are invited to join the Annville campus in the weekend festivities, which will include carnival games, arts and crafts, artisans, craft vendors, food vendors, children's activities and concerts. Many kid and adult-friendly activities will be available, including inflatables, a petting zoo area, tons of food, tie-dying, a car smash, and more. Craft vendors and artisans from the region will be open all day with a variety of wares. Further, the Wig and Buckle Theater Company will present the play You Can't Take It With You at 2 p.m., in the Leedy Theater of the Mund College Center.

For the annual concert series, ValleyFest will pay homage to 40 years of rock and roll by featuring a weekend of tribute and cover bands. In Arnold Sports Center on Friday, April 15 at 8 p.m., two LVC student bands will open for a concert featuring Live Wire, "the world's greatest AC/DC tribute band." On Saturday, April 16 LVC will welcome two tribute acts: Bon Journey (celebrating the works of Bon Jovi and Journey) and Get The Led Out, the "ultimate Led Zeppelin experience."
