ANNVILLE, PA (08/31/2012)(readMedia)-- As the kid voted "wittiest" in high school, Ronnie Jordan is now making his mark on the comedy scene. Jordan will perform on Lebanon Valley College's Leedy Theater stage Friday, Sept. 21 at 9 p.m. in a free and public show.
Jordan has made a name for himself sharing concert dates with comedians including Rickey Smiley, Bruce Bruce, Earthquake, Mike Epps, and Dave Chappelle. Just one year after he began his comedy career, famous Uptown Comedy Corner in Atlanta, Ga. crowned him "Rookie of the Year" in 2001.
Jordan has been featured on various comedy television shows like BET's Comic View and P. Diddy Presents Bad Boys of Comedy and has broken college-touring records, performing at 102 colleges in 112 days. He is currently traveling across the nation on his "College Material Tour." The Friday Night Comedy Series at Lebanon Valley College is sponsored by the student programming board and includes performances by comedian Pete Lee on Sept. 28, mentalist duo The Evason's on Oct. 13, comedians KT Tatara on Nov. 9 and Adam Ace on Nov. 16, and an End of the Year Bash with comedian Dave Coulier of "Full House" on Dec. 7.
