Libertarian Party of New York to hold State Convention this Saturday

America's third largest political party to nominate statewide candidates

ALBANY, NY (04/21/2010)(readMedia)-- On Saturday, April 24, the Libertarian Party of New York will hold it's annual State Convention in Albany, NY at the Hilton Garden Inn. A full slate of candidates for statewide offices will be nominated, including both offices of the United States Senate. The event is open to the public, and representatives of the media with press credentials may observe all scheduled events at no cost.

The Libertarian Party is America's third largest and most successful political party. Recent Tea Party events have prominently featured Libertarian Party candidates and officers. Chris Edes, State Chair of the Libertarian Party of New York, recently spoke at the Rochester, NY Tea Party on April 15 to an estimated 1,000 activists.
