Linda Kelly of Wilbraham receives theology award at Elms College

CHICOPEE, MA (05/19/2010)(readMedia)-- Linda Kelly of Wilbraham received the Reverend Mark Stelzer Scholarship at Elms College's annual Honors Convocation. The award is presented to a student enrolled in the master of arts applied theology program who has demonstrated the ability to integrate the study of sacred theology with the demands of pastoral ministry.

The award honors Fr. Mark Stelzer, Ph.D., associate professor of humanities, past interim president of Elms, founder of the college's Institute for Theology and Pastoral Studies, and beloved and skilled classroom teacher, for his contribution to the study of theology at Elms College.

Kelly is studying for her master of arts degree in applied theology.
