Lindsey Burke, Lockport, NY, earns degree from Mercyhurst University

ERIE, PA (07/18/2013)(readMedia)-- Lindsey Burke of Lockport, N.Y., was a member of the Mercyhurst University Class of 2013 and received a degree during Commencement Weekend May 18-19.

Burke graduated with a BS degree in communications with a minor in marketing.

Mercyhurst University President Thomas J. Gamble, Ph.D., presented diplomas to traditional-aged graduates during Sunday's 2 p.m. baccalaureate ceremony at the Bayfront Convention Center in downtown Erie, while Board of Trustees Chair Marlene Mosco welcomed the gathering of graduates, faculty and staff, family and friends.

Mercyhurst University, founded in 1926 by the Sisters of Mercy, is a fully accredited, four-year, Catholic comprehensive institution, in Erie, Pa.
