Local Business Gives Boys and Girls Club Space

STAUNTON, VA (03/10/2010)(readMedia)-- The Boys and Girls Club got a "hand up" from Jack Barber of the real estate company Madison Monroe in the form of office space. Until now the Executive Director of the Waynesboro, Staunton and Augusta County Boys and Girls Club conducted all club business from the Waynesboro home office. That will all change now that Madison Monroe has come forward with office space in the Stratton Building. The space will make it much more convenient for the Executive Director to meet Staunton contributors, conduct tours of the Staunton unit at the Booker T. Washington Community Center and plan joint ventures with other Staunton organizations. This is a move by the Boys and Girls Club to create more awareness of the new Staunton unit and to educate the public on the benefits of the Boys and Girls Club.
