Local Resident Graduates from College of William and Mary
WILLIAMSBURG, VA (06/18/2009)(readMedia)-- Kimiko Warlaumont from Slingerlands, NY recently graduated from the College of William with a Bachelor of Science degree.
The College of William and Mary is a public university located in Williamsburg, Virginia. Founded by Royal Charter in 1693, it is the second oldest college in the country.
William and Mary has a long history of liberal arts education and a powerful commitment to both teaching and research. The College's student body is just over 7,700 full- time (graduate and undergraduate) students with an 11 to 1 student/ faculty ratio.
U.S News and World Report ranks the College sixth among all public universities in the country. Known as "the alma matter of a nation," William and mary has educated three American presidents: Thomas Jefferson, James Monore and John Tyler-- with Washington serving as its first American chancellor.
