Founded in 1911 at the University of Illinois, Kappa Delta Pi is the oldest and largest international education honor society in the United States. Membership is open to students who have earned a 3.0 cumulative grade point average, show potential or have achieved education leadership, and exemplify worthy educational ideas. The Society inducts only those individuals who have exhibited the ideals of scholarship, integrity in service, and commitment to excellence in teaching and its allied professions.
