Local student will present senior recital at Malone University (Canton, OH)

CANTON , OH (03/20/2013)(readMedia)-- The Malone University College of Theology, Arts, and Sciences – Department of Music will present a senior recital featuring Hannah Adler, a senior music major from Rochester, New York, on Saturday, April 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the Stewart Room of the Randall Campus Center, located on the campus at 2600 Cleveland Avenue N.W. in Canton. The program is free and open to the public. A program follows.

Hannah Adler is a senior pursuing a BA in music. She also is a pursuing a psychology minor. Her primary instrument is voice, which she currently studied with Cynthia Wohlschlager and previously with Rachel Nunez. Her secondary instrument is piano, which she studies under Ralitsa Georgieva-Smith. She is a member of the Malone University Chamber choir and serves as the secretary for the Malone University Chorale. She is also a past member of the Women's Concert Choir and a member of Malone's ministry team, New Vision. She has been awarded the J. Walter and Emma Malone Scholarship, a Vocal Music Scholarship, and has been on the Dean's list for seven semesters. She also has a love for theater and participated in Into the Woods at Malone in the fall of 2010. Hannah is from Rochester, New York, and upon graduation is hoping to earn a master's degree in music therapy or special education while continuing to pursue theater in her spare time.
