Advocates of Planned Parenthood and other family planning health centers will gather in front of the district office of Rep. Chris Gibson to raise public awareness of his recent votes in Congress assaulting women's health care.

Gibson voted to defund Planned Parenthood of all federal funding for preventive and primary health services and eliminate the 40-year-old Title X federal family planning grant program that helps community-based health centers provide lifesaving cancer screenings, birth control, STI testing and treatment, HIV testing, and more hundreds of thousands of women, men and teens statewide.

Family Planning Advocates of New York State is a non-profit, statewide organization dedicated to protecting and expanding access to a full range of reproductive health care services. It represents New York's Planned Parenthood affiliates and other family planning centers, as well as hundreds of organizations and thousands of individual members.
