MN Board of Medical Practice Announces Disciplinary Actions Taken on February 2, 2010 and March 13, 2010

MINNEAPOLIS, MN (03/19/2010)(readMedia)-- The Board of Medical Practice will release on its website only the Disciplinary Actions which were taken on or which have occurred since the most recent Board Meeting Date. Also, please take note of the statute regarding information the Board must publish. For questions regarding any other Disciplinary Actions, please contact the Board of Medical Practice at (612) 617-2130. Minnesota Statutue 147.02 Subd. 6. Disciplinary actions must be published. At least annually, the board shall publish and release to the public a description of all disciplinary measures taken by the board. The publication must include, for each disciplinary measure taken, the name and business address of the licensee, the nature of the misconduct, and the disciplinary measure taken by the board. Minnesota Statute 147.02 Subd. 6a. Exception to publication requirement. The publication requirement does not apply to disciplinary measures by the board which are based exclusively upon grounds listed in section 147.091, subdivision 1, clause (l) or (r).
