HOBBS, NM (05/24/2011)(readMedia)-- Macy Olness of San Angelo, Texas, recently signed a letter of intent to play for University of the Southwest's (USW)Lady Mustang volleyball team in Hobbs, NM, for the Fall 2011 season.
A Lake View High School graduate, Olness played outside hitter and earned several honors, including: First Team All District, Honorable Mention All District, and All-American Mascot.
"Macy is one of those young women you are really happy to have on the team; she's great in the classroom and on the court," said Head Volleyball Coach Sonya Petroski. "She's a natural born leader, and I'm excited to see what she can do for us this coming season."
