AUGUSTA, ME (03/19/2010)(readMedia)-- Hamilton Richards was promoted to Colonel in the Maine Army National Guard.

Richards is the Director of Logistics for the Maine Army National Guard. As the director, Richards is responsible for heavy equipment maintenance, supplies, food service, transportation and property book accountability.

Richards is the head coach for the Mount View High School Wrestling team. He is the son of Jean Richards; Richards and his wife Andrea and daughter Alexandria live in Jackson.
