Maine Army National Guard and American Veterans Host "Yarmouth Guard Day"

AUGUSTA, ME (08/14/2024) (readMedia)-- The Maine Army National Guard and American Veterans (AMVETS) Yarmouth Chapter are hosting "Yarmouth Guard Day" on August 15, 2024 at AMVETS Yarmouth (120 North Road, Yarmouth, ME 04096).

WHAT:

 "Yarmouth Guard Day" gives the public an opportunity to speak with Maine Army National Guard (MEARNG) service members, veterans, and get hands on with some of the ground vehicles, helicopters, and equipment in the MEARNG's inventory. 
WHEN: Thursday August 15, 2024 at 08:30AM Eastern Time (US & Canada)

NOTES:

Weather permitting, a MEARNG UH-60 "Blackhawk" is anticipated to land between 9:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. and depart around 3:00 p.m. 

Brigadier General Diane Dunn, the Adjutant General of the Maine Army National Guard, will be available for interview shortly after 12:00 p.m.
