BANGOR, MAINE (06/27/2023) (readMedia)-- Members of the 195th Army Band will be performing their annual series of concerts around the state starting on July 2 and continuing through July 13.

"We hope our friends and neighbors will consider adding one of the 195th's nearby concerts to their holiday plans," said Maj. Gen. Douglas Farnham, Maine's adjutant general. "As our musical ambassadors, they have been practicing hard as always. We appreciate communities' reaching out to invite us to be a part of their festivities, whether concerts like these, or supporting patriotic parades and ceremonies. A very Happy Independence Day from your friends and neighbors at the Maine National Guard!"

2023 Summer Tour Dates:

July 2 – 12:00pm – American Legion Post 105, Newport

July 3 – 6:00pm – L.L. Bean Stage, Freeport

July 4 – 7:00pm – Seaside Pavilion, Old Orchard Beach

July 5 – 5:30pm – Town Hall, Brunswick

July 12 – 6:00pm – Waterfront Park, Bangor

July 13 – 6:30pm – Binette Park, Old Town

All concerts are free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to check the Army Band website ahead of time to ensure no changes have been made. Any additions to the schedule will also appear on the website.
