Malone University senior art exhibit will feature works by Cayce Wheelock

CANTON , OH (10/24/2012)(readMedia)-- The Malone University College of Theology, Arts, and Sciences – Department of Art will present a senior portfolio exhibition November 7-17 in the McFadden Gallery of the Johnson Center, located on the campus at 2600 Cleveland Avenue N.W. in Canton. The exhibit – titled, "In the Image..." – is free and open to the public. The exhibit is the work of Cayce Wheelock, a senior art and business administration double major from Lisle, New York. In addition, there will be an opening reception Saturday, November 10 from 6 – 9 p.m.

Cayce Wheelock has an emphasis in drawing and painting, and specializes in figures and portraits. Her work is primarily created with acrylics, oils, and / or graphite. Her work has been featured in many student and juried shows including the Fountain Gallery R.S.V.P. show two years running, the McFadden Gallery student show, and several solo exhibitions at the Mola Gallery and other business locations.
