Maquoketa Bunny Wins State Fair Largest Rabbit Title

DES MOINES, IA (08/24/2023) (readMedia)-- The Largest Rabbit contest judged at the 2023 Iowa State Fair tipped the scales at 20 pounds, 12 ounces. The Flemish Giant, "Hawkeye," is co-owned by Tom and Deona Casel, Mallory and Braelynn Jamison and Hailey Veach of Maquoketa.

"Bertha," a Flemish Giant shown by Dave, Cindy and Bobbi Jo Bellman of Dubuque, weighed in at 19 pounds, 6 ounces and claimed second place.
