Maravilla Clemens, a member of the Class of 2016 at Colby, is one of 25 undergraduates from prestigious colleges and universities participating in a groundbreaking study-abroad program offered by Sea Education Association (SEA). After a month at the Woods Hole, Mass., SEA campus, the students left Auckland, New Zealand, Feb. 9, on a six-week voyage aboard an ocean research vessel, where they are using the Ocean Health Index to explore environmental issues. They plan to arrive in Christchurch March 19.
