Action Taken: Dr. Seifert's license is suspended as follows:
- His license is indefinitely suspended.
- During the suspension, he shall not practice medicine and surgery in Minnesota.
- His 2007 Order remains in effect.
- He may petition the Committee for a stay of the suspension upon successful completion of the requirements of paragraphs 5.a.1), 5.a.2), and 5.a.3) of his 2007 Order.
- If the Committee has probable cause to believe that he has failed to comply with his 2007 Order, it may remove the stay of suspension pursuant to the procedures outlined in paragraph 8 of his 2007 Order, with the following additions and exceptions:
- The removal of the stay of suspension shall take effect upon service of an Order of Removal of Stay of Suspension, which the Committee shall be authorized to issue. The Order of Removal shall remain in effect until the Board makes a final determination pursuant to the procedures outlined in paragraph 8 of his 2007 Order. The Order of Removal shall confirm the Committee has probable cause to believe he has failed to comply with the 2007 Order and shall be deemed a public document.
- The Committee shall schedule the hearing pursuant to paragraph 8 of his 2007 Order to be held within 30 days of the date of service of the Order of Removal.
