Mary Stokes Contributes to Psychology Research Presentation

CHESTERTOWN, MD (04/11/2014)(readMedia)--  Washington College is pleased to announce that Mary Stokes '15 of Norfolk, V.A. assisted with a paper that was presented at the Eastern Psychological Association Meeting in Boston, M.A. from March 13-16. The paper analyzed the differences in reactions of self-rated happy and unhappy students to positive and negative stimuli and was informed by a study that Stokes helped conduct.

Stokes is majoring in Clinical and Counseling Psychology. On campus she is a sister of Alpha Chi Omega, and is a member of the horseback riding and psychology clubs.
