Matamoros beats school record at Wendy's Pittsburg State Invitational Feb. 1

The streak continues. University of Arkansas at Little Rock student-athletes have broken a school record in every indoor meet the Trojans have competed this season and the team's Feb. 1 trip to the Wendy's Pittsburg State Invitational was no exception. This time the records came in the men's high jump, women's pole vault, and women's 600m.

Christian Matamoros topped a high jump record set 22 years ago. The freshman cleared a height of 6-9.5 (2.07m) on Feb. 1 to best a long-standing record originally set by James Lundberg in 1998 as he finished fourth in the event.
