PLEASANTVILLE, NY (04/10/2012)(readMedia)-- Matt Mirabito (Binghamton, NY/Broome CC) was named Northeast-10 Conference Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week after an outstanding week with in two Setter wins. Mirabito finished with eight points on three goals and five assists for the week.
Mirabito had a standout week for the Setters as he totaled two goals and two assists in a 14-8 win over American International. He finished the week with a goal and three assists in a 9-3 win over Southern New Hampshire. On the season, Mirabito leads the team with 22 assists and 30 points. He ranks third in the NE-10 in points and ranks eighth in the nation. Mirabito leads the NE-10 and Division II in assists.
Pace returns to action on Tuesday, April 10 when they will host Adelphi University in a Northeast-10 Conference match-up at Pace Field at 4 pm as "Pace Goes Pink" for Tuesday's game. Colleges Against Cancer and Pace SAAC will be on hand selling t-shirts for $5 at the game with all proceeds going to the Dickstein Cancer Treatment Center of the White Plains Hospital.
