Matthew Giallongo of Beverly to Perform Senior Recital

GETTYSBURG, PA (02/06/2012)(readMedia)--  Matthew Giallongo, a Senior at Gettysburg College will present a senior recital on February 24 at 7 p.m. in Gettysburg College's Paul Recital Hall located in Schmucker Hall on the Gettysburg College campus. Giallongo's program will include a broad range of music from solo operatic arias, art songs, and duets. Featured composers are Benjamin Britten, Francis Poulenc, Alexander Zemlinsky, and Franz Schubert. Operatic selections are taken from I Capuleti e i Montecchi, Don Pasquale, Die Zauberflöte, and The Crucible.

Founded in 1832, Gettysburg College is a highly selective four-year residential college of liberal arts and sciences with a strong academic tradition that includes Rhodes Scholars, a Nobel laureate and other distinguished scholars among its alumni.
