Matusz of Barnegat Recognized at Widener University ROTC Awards Ceremony for Physical Fitness

CHESTER, PA (05/10/2013)(readMedia)-- Angelique Matusz of Barnegat, N.J., was recently honored at an awards ceremony for members of the ROTC program at Widener University in Chester, Pa. Matusz received the Platinum Medal Athlete award, which is given each semester to recognize the cadets who score the highest on the Army Physical Fitness Test.

Matusz is a junior nursing major at Widener.

Widener serves as the host for Army ROTC activity at area institutions. Cadets hail from the Abington and Brandywine campuses of Pennsylvania State University, Cheyney University of Pennsylvania, Immaculata University, Neumann University, Villanova University and West Chester University of Pennsylvania to make up the Dauntless Battalion.
