MANCHESTER, NH (05/23/2013)(readMedia)-- Maynard, Mass. resident Jonathon O'Reilly graduated magna cum laude from Saint Anselm College on Saturday, May 18, following an impressive student-athlete career.
The math major, computer science minor, O'Reilly has already accepted a position as web developer at Christianbooks.com.
Captain of Saint Anselm College's men's lacrosse team, O'Reilly was named male Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year. O'Reilly was named to the Dean's List six times, inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, the National Student Athlete Honor Society, and a member of Saint Anselm College's TAU Chapter of the Delta Epsilon Sigma National Scholastic Honor Society.
O'Reilly was named to the Northeast-10 Academic All-Conference Team last season and is a seven-time member of the Northeast-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll. He won the Paul S. Coleman Service Award for the athletic department in 2012 and is also a Presidential Scholarship recipient.
He was a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, an alter server at the Abbey Church, a New Student Orientation Leader, and worked in the Academic Resource Center Tutor and Mentor Program.
O'Reilly earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Anselm at the college's 120th commencement.
