McMurry's Chavez Adds NCCAA National Weekly Award

McMurry University goalkeeper Alex Chavez (Galveston, Texas/Bell H.S.) added another weekly honor after a banner effort for the War Hawks, picking up the national defensive Student-Athlete of the Week for men's soccer from the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA). Earlier today, Chavez was also recognized by the American Southwest Conference (ASC) as its defensive POTW, as well, after leading the War Hawks (3-1) to a pair of shutouts last week.
