Media Advisory: Canal Corporation Advises of Reopening of Canalway Trail Section in City of Lockport

ALBANY, NY (08/28/2009)(readMedia)-- The New York State Canal Corporation today advised of the reopening of the 1,000-foot section of Canalway Trail from the Exchange Street Lift Bridge to the Lake Street Bridge in the City of Lockport, Niagara County, effective immediately. The trail was closed on August 20, 2009 in order for embankment repairs to be made.

The Canal Corporation appreciates the public's patience while the repairs were made.
