Groundbreaking held tomorrow for All-Electronic Interchange linking Turnpike and Route 29
HARRISBURG, PA (03/23/2011)(readMedia)-- The $48 million project to construct the Turnpike's first full, E-ZPass only interchange on the mainline (I-76) begins this month. Located between the Turnpike's Downingtown (Exit #312) and Valley Forge (Exit #326) interchanges, the new Exit #320 will provide alternative access for commuters to and from the Valley Forge area to the Route 202/Great Valley Corporate Center Corridor.

TIME: 10 a.m.
SPEAKERS: Turnpike Officials, Legislators and senior executives representing the chief engineering/construction firms associated with the project.
PROGRAM: After brief remarks, dignitaries (including elected officials) will break ground on the northbound side of Yellow Springs Road. A walking tour will be conducted after the ceremony.
LOCATION: 2428 Yellow Springs Road in Malvern, PA
DIRECTIONS: Parking for the event will be at the project field office at 2428 Yellow Springs Road, approximately 0.3 mile east of Route 29 (Morehall Road) on the right. The property is located east on Yellow Springs Road where it parallels the Turnpike (eastbound I-76) between Rt. 29 and Howells Road in East Whiteland Township. The ceremony will be across the street at the former site of the Solitario Kennels (3757 Yellow Springs Road).
