NOTES: "Walk Our Children to School Day" teaches students about how to safely walk to and from school and encourages families to walk together.
Children and parents will gather at the old Ford Motor Company parking lot at the corner of Hudson and Tibbits Avenues for a walk to school.
The event is sponsored by the Capital District Safe Kids Coalition, of which the Governor's Traffic Safety Committee is a part and made possible through a grant by FedEx.
